To access the official courses leading to the Bachelor's Degree in Higher Artistic Education in Dance Pedagogy at the CSDA, it is necessary to meet one of the academic requirements and pass the specific entrance exam.
The academic requirements must ALL BE COMPLETED IN SPAIN OR RECOGNIZED BY THE SPANISH MINISTRY OF EDUCATION:
1. High School Diploma.
2. Certificate of passing the university entrance exam for people over 25 years of age.
3. Higher artistic education degree, university degree or Higher Technician degree.
PROCEDURE
The procedure will be as follows:
1. Contact us
Applicants should contact the center via email at [email protected] and express their interest in studying at the CSDA, specifying their preferred style: classical ballet, Spanish dance, contemporary dance, or social dance. They should also include a link to a 2-3 minute video of themselves dancing. If the applicant passes this initial selection, they will be invited to take the entrance exams, which are held in July and/or September each year.
2. Entrance exams
The applicant must appear in person for the official tests in July or September of the upcoming academic year.
The center will enable the appropriate mechanisms for the test to be carried out by those foreign applicants who have previously requested it.

2.1 Registration for the entrance exam
Registrations will be done electronically following the general instructions, i.e., completing the form, paying fees and submitting documents.

If applicable, a photocopy of the Large Family, Single Parent Family Certificate or other documentation for exemption or discount (disability equal to or greater than 33%, victims of terrorist acts and gender violence, certificate of honors in the average grade of Baccalaureate)
c) Sending documentation
IMPORTANT: Once registration is complete and the fees have been paid, it is mandatory to send and submit all required documentation via email to:

The original documentation will be checked against the one received by email at the center before the tests are carried out in person at the center.
The non-veracity of the documentation presented will be grounds for annulment of the entrance exam.

2.2 Taking the entrance exam
A) Test of theoretical reflection linked to dance.
B) Practical test: A ballet class, a dance class of the style and a solo variation of up to 2 minutes will be performed with the group of applicants.
3. Recognition of high school diplomas
At the same time, foreign applicants will have to request the validation of their high school diploma or any higher university degree if they have one.

IMPORTANT:
Previously, a sworn translation of the title into Spanish must be carried out.
