GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
To access the official teachings leading to the Higher Degree in Dance, it is necessary to meet certain academic requirements and pass the specific access test:
Academic requirements:
It is essential to be in possession of one of the three academic requirements presented below:
1. Bachelor's degree.
2. Certificate of passing the university entrance exam for those over 25 years of age.
3. Certificate of passing the specific test for people without academic requirements.
If you do not have the necessary academic requirements (Bachelor's Degree or University Entrance Test for those over 25 years of age), you must take a specific test common to all higher artistic studies before taking the specific test of the Superior Dance Conservatory of Alicante.

TEST FOR PEOPLE WITHOUT ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS (Art. 69.5 LOE)
Aimed only at students without a Bachelor's Degree or University Entrance Examination for those over 25 years of age.
Registration: to register, the following two phases must be completed in their entirety: Online registration phase and documentation submission phase.

4) if applicable, supporting documentation of the specific educational needs derived from physical, mental or sensory disabilities or other serious disorders, with official recognition whose degree is equal to or greater than 33%.

Carrying out the specific test for people without academic requirements (art. 69.5 LOE):

Time and place : at 8:30 a.m., the call will be held at the venue chosen during registration. The start time will be 9:00 am and the test as a whole will have a maximum duration of 5 hours.

The test will consist of the following four parts :
First part: History of Art. Written exercise based on a given text and images related to the content of the text. Based on a History of Art text (in Valencian and Spanish) and two images related to the text, students will have to answer several closed-ended questions (multiple choice) and open-ended questions related to the text and the images.
Second part: History of Philosophy. Starting from a History of Philosophy text (in Valencian and Spanish), students will have to answer several closed-ended questions (multiple choice) and open-ended questions related to the content of the text.
Third part: To choose between Valencian Language or Spanish Language. Exercises on linguistic aspects and reading comprehension, from a given text. From a text with an artistic theme, various questions will be asked about grammar, spelling and lexicon.
Fourth part: Foreign language, to choose between English or French. Exercises on linguistic aspects and reading comprehension, from a given text. From a text with an artistic theme, various questions will be asked about grammar, spelling and lexicon.

The fees to be paid by students who attend the entrance exams will be:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PAYMENT OF FEES
For this test there are two calls, in July and in September 2022.
Application deadline :
Documentation to provide : completed application, payment of the fee, original and photocopy of the Bachelor's Degree and original and photocopy of the DNI.

IMPORTANT : The average mark of the Professional Dance Teaching file will constitute 50% of the mark of the specific access test, in the case of being in possession of the Professional Dance Title. (It is mandatory to attach the academic certificate stating the average grade on the day of the entrance exam).
IMPORTANT : to obtain a scholarship in the first year of these studies, it will be necessary to have obtained at least 6.50 points in the specific entrance test, as well as the specific requirements set by the Ministry of Education (pending the publication of the requirements of the call 2021/2022).

SPECIFIC ACCESS TEST FOR RESIDENTS ABROAD
The annexes indicate that:
The center will enable the appropriate mechanisms to carry out the test by those foreign applicants who have previously requested it.
The Superior Dance Conservatory of Alicante details the registration procedure and development of the test for this group.
Entries will be made electronically following the general instructions, that is, fill in the form and submit documents that can be accessed at the following link
At the time of sending the requested documentation to csdalicante@gmail.com , the applicant must state in the subject line that the registration is for a specific access test for people residing abroad.
The original documentation will be compared with the one received by email at the center, when the applicant completes the final phase of the tests that will be carried out in person at the center.
The inaccuracy of the documentation presented will be grounds for cancellation of the entrance exam.
The registration deadlines correspond to the general deadlines reported on the web for the rest of the access tests.

The documentation to be provided by email regarding registration will be as follows:
NOTE: the documents will be sent scanned by email to the center ( csdalicante@gmail.com ) and later they will be provided in person at the center in the final phase of the access test.
The test will consist of two phases, one telematics (initial phase) and another face-to-face (final phase).
Initial phase (telematics)
Structure and content of the specific Dance access test will consist of three parts:
First part:
Realization of a written commentary and analysis on a text related to dance and proposed by the court, in which the maturity, the capacity for analysis, the associated knowledge and the study of the context, which in its case could be derived from the text, will be valued . It will represent 30% of the final grade.
Second part:
Practical test that will represent 60% of the final grade.
a) Realization of a practical class of dance technique of the style to which the applicant chooses.
b) The applicant will submit a variation or free choreography, with a maximum duration of 3 minutes. Carrying out this part of the test will be optional, according to the consideration of the court.
Third part:
Presentation and defense before the court of a memory that will deal with their training, professional life, interests, expectations and concerns about higher education in dance. It will represent 10% of the final grade. The average mark of the professional studies file will constitute 50% of the mark of the specific access test, in the case of being in possession of the Professional Dance Certificate, provided that this qualification is beneficial for the calculation of the final mark. The center will enable the appropriate mechanisms to carry out the test by those applicants residing abroad who have previously requested it.
Final phase
Passing the initial phase entails pre-acceptance by the Alicante Superior Dance Conservatory, in the absence of definitive passing of the test that will be carried out in person at the center:
* To formalize enrollment in the CSDA, it is required to have passed the two phases of the entrance test.
* Consultation of the status of the admission to the test and the qualifications obtained after its completion
The CSDA will offer 50 places for the 2021-2022 academic year.
