The Social Dance style has a socio-educational and welfare purpose. Its orientation is community, inclusive, educational and for health . It includes subjects such as didactics and dance techniques in which Somatic Movement, Improvisation, Contact are introduced, among other techniques (in addition to contemporary, classical and Spanish dance), which can be applied to the diverse society in which we live.
It also addresses diverse academic training that includes ballroom and Latin dances, which can be applied from teaching to diverse groups, oriented to different work and educational fields.
This style provides complete and recognized official training in these areas, aimed not only at dancers and choreographers but also at educators, educational psychologists, social workers, artists from other disciplines, etc. It is required, as a minimum requirement, a previous experience of body movement to be able to take advantage of our studies. In short, this style is focused on all those people, of any age, who want to use the art of dance as a tool for social transformation.
