CARMINA OCAÑA

Born in Madrid (1943) and trained at the Danish School by Elna and Leif Ørnberg. With a career in private education since 1968. Combined with teaching at her school, she was, at its foundation, Director of the National Classical Ballet School. She has been a Guest Teacher of the main companies in the country, such as the National Ballet of Spain, the National Classical Ballet, the Victor Ullate Company, the Joaquín Cortes Company ... as well as numerous conservatories throughout Spain
Since 2003 he has shared the work of directing the School with Pablo Savoye.
The long history of her work as a Teacher has given her the satisfaction of seeing how some of her students, after finishing their stage as dancers, have continued to be linked to this profession in the form of teachers, directors of companies, conservatories and private schools, therapists, critics and experts in Dance, high positions in the Administration of the world of the Arts, dance entrepreneurs and a long etcetera that makes their work widely valued, respected and admired.
