Conference for equality and respect for diversity at the CSDA

Next Wednesday, February 23 at 11:00 a.m., a talk will be held in collaboration with the José Espadero Professional Dance Conservatory for students and teachers on the origin and fall of the sex-gender system.

In recent years, the dialogue on sexual and gender diversity has taken on an unprecedented presence in our history and culture. However, the speed at which this dialogue is developing has generated a leap and distance between what is called "queer" and the thinking of a large part of society. It is not uncommon that some of the political, philosophical, sociological or even linguistic proposals and debates that arise around them are often perceived as arbitrary and unjustified.

This talk will try to make an approach to the history of sexuality thought that allows the construction of a critical view, supported by academic science, and that can function as a bridge for social debate from the defense of human rights and respect for diversity.
