Kristian Cellini, born August 28, 1971, is now an established freelance teacher and choreographer both nationally and internationally.

He graduated with honors as a classical and modern dancer in 1989 and began his career as a dancer in numerousdance companies alongside prestigious artists such as Carla Fracci, George Iancu, Vladimir Derevjanko, Luciana Savignano, Daniel Ezralow, and Micha Van Hoecke.

Trayectoria

He has worked for more than 15 years in the most important television programs covering soloist or principal dancer roles for RAI TV, Mediaset, Turkish Television Canal D, Swiss Television and with numerous Italian artists such as Vasco Rossi, Renato Zero and Andrea Bocelli. He signs choreographies for TV programs such as Massimo Troisi Award, Cimitile Literary Award, Castrocaro Festival and others.

Important recognitions and awards received. In 1993 he received the “Paride Award” and in 2004 the “Silver Dancer” award as best dancer.

In 2014 he received the “Aurel Milloss” and “Napoli Cultural Classic” awards for Dance - Award to Excellence XIV edition - for choreographic talent with the following motivation, “Choreographer and teacher of recognized artistic depth. Innovative in language, thanks to his bursting creative energy and on the basis of an established technique and e^ective musical choices, he creates masterful interpretations.”

He receives in 2021 the “Capri Danza International Award” 10th edition for choreographic excellence.

In 2023 he received the “Anna Magnani International Prize for Choreography” and the “Golden Nutcracker Award” as choreographer of the year.

In 2024 he receives the Italian Excellence Award as a choreographer - Capitular Hall at the Senate of the Republic.

From 2008 to 2014 he is choreographer of the shows, theater tours and concerts of Maestro Andrea Bocelli at Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico, “Cinema Tribute”, “Presenze”, “Donna: Mistero senza fine”, “I colori dell'anima”, Pathos, “Concerto Stelle”, “Bravo Italy and China”. In 2010, he curated the choreographic movements for “Notte Illuminata,” a video and magazine project of Andrea Bocelli directed by Maestro Eugene Kohn.

In 2011 he is choreographer of the rock opera “Jade's Ark” and from 2012 to 2014 he is guest choreographer at the DansEncore International Gala Festival, in Québec - Canada with three new creations, “Homage to Vivaldi, What Women and Panta Rei”

In October 2012, he is guest choreographer at the “Real Conservatorio Professionale de Danza Mariemma” with “Fantasticheria” created for the Gala “20 años Il Taller choreographic RCPD.”

In 2013 he choreographed “Short Time” with the MaggioDanza company at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Theater and Ravel's “Piano Concerto” inspired by the artist Amedeo Modigliani. In the same year he signs the choreographies of “Cavalleria Rusticana” with Andrea Bocelli directed by M. Placido Domingo, with Giuseppe Picone (International Etoile) and Bridgett Zehr (prima ballerina of ENB) for Teatro del Silenzio (PI).

In 2015, he is a choreographer and teacher at “BCB Bangkok City Ballet” and is also a guest maestro at Roberto Campanella's ProArteDanza company in Toronto.

In 2016 he created “Baroque Triptych” for the 11Lune Festival and in 2017 he created “Impossible Love” for the Alessandra Corona Works Company in New York, a show inspired by Alexandre Dumas' novel “The Lady of the Camellias.” In the same year he created “Abstract” with the first dancers of the Kiev Opera, Olga Golitsa, Sergii Kliachin and with the dancers of the Florence Opus Ballet.

In 2018 he created “La Mietitura ‘with Laura Rosillo Ramirez and Casey L.Herd and Balletto di Siena, while at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples in honor of the ’Nureyev Gala” he staged the pas de deux “Albinoni” performed by Giuseppe Picone and Candida Sorrentino.

He also creates choreography for Sergei Polunin in the video “Ave Maria Pietas” with Andrea Bocelli and Aida Garifullina directed by Gaetano Morbioli and for the opera “Andrea Cheniér” with Andrea Bocelli directed by Steven Mercurio.

In 2019 he creates for Guillame Còté and Heather Ogden, Principal Dancers of the National Ballet of Canada, a pas de deux entitled “Encounters” and the new show “Empathy.” Founds and curates the first edition “Gala of Dancing Stars” with principal dancers and soloists from major Italian and European Theaters, at Amphitheater Fonte Mazzola (PI) For “Festivaldera” he is director and choreographer of two shows such as “La Finestra” and “Passo a due” with music by Marco Zurzolo and lyrics by Michele Santeramo.

In 2020/21, he is choreographer of the show “Seduced and Unhinged” based on the autobiographical book by Ileana Spaziale and simultaneously choreographs “Purgatory” inspired by the “Divine Comedy” with the dancers of Kaos Ballet - Balletto di Firenze.

In 2021 he returned to Teatro del Silenzio as choreographer and assistant artistic director for Maestro Andrea Bocelli's show “Il Mistero della Bellezza.” In December of the same year, he is guest choreographer with the Real Conservatorio Professionale de Danza Mariemma for a Gala evening in Madrid.

In 2022/23 he is choreographer of the Concerts at Circus Maximus “ZEROSETTANTA” and Renato Zero's “ZERO A ZERO” theatrical tour.

He is a guest judge/choreographer in the 2023/24 edition of AMICI.

In 2024, he brings to the stage the second edition of the "Gala di stelle danzanti" in Spoltore (PE) for the 42nd edition of "Spoltore Ensemble," with the participation of dancers from the most important Italian and international opera companies.

In 2024/25, he is the Artistic Coordinator and Choreographer at the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma for the event "Il Concerto di Natale" for the Lazio Region.

In 2025, he is a guest choreographer at AFAM – Accademia Nazionale di danza di Roma For years, he has been holding “choreographic workshops” in professional dance Schools and Centers both in Italy and abroad such as IDA International Dance Association, Boston Ballet School, Jo^rey Ballet School New York, Art's Umbrella Vancouver, Centre du Marais and Studio Harmonic in Paris, Real Conservatorio professionale de Danza Mariemma in Madrid, “BarcellonaJazz” Festival in Barcelona, Beirut (Lebanon) and at the Festival Mas Danza El Salvador. In Toronto (Canada) at “Metro Movement Dance Studios”, “Canadian Contemporary Dance Theater”, “Dance Allegro Studio”, “George Randolph School” and at the prestigious University “Centennical College of Toronto”.
