International Relations Department
Welcome
The European Educational Programmes organized by the OAPEE (Autonomous
Organization for the European Educational Programmes) have as a general aim to
facilitate the exchange, cooperation and mobility between the Educational
Systems of the European Countries that take part, so they will become a quality
reference in the world.
Among the different educational proposals we can find the Erasmus
programme which has as aim to deal with the education and training needs of the
participants in official higher education and the tertiary professional
studies, regardless the length of the studies and including doctorate degrees,
as well as to the organizations involve in the teaching of these studies.
It is mainly the International Relations Department of the Higher
Conservatory of Dance in Alicante
which manages the mobility programmes.

University Charter was given inside the Lifelong Learning programme Call for

GENERAL INFORMATION
In this section you will be able to find information related to the city
of Alicante,
its monuments, its history, accommodation and places to study our language.
Our city
There are many advantages to studying Dance in Alicante. As the administrative capital of
the Costa Blanca, Alicante
is a medium-sized city that enjoys an exceptional Mediterranean climate, with
warm summers and mild winters, and an average annual temperature of 17°C.
It has got an international airport, just 12 km from the city centre,
offering outstanding communication links with the rest of Europe,
with around 60 direct flights a day to other European cities.
It also has a strong university tradition, and every year welcomes more
and more foreign students to the city. There is a large number of professional
schools that teach Spanish as a foreign language, offering students a range of
different services.
But Alicante
is also famous for its beaches and sea, its celebrations, monuments and
museums, reflecting over 1000 years of history, its local cuisine, its range of
leisure and entertainment options both day and night, its services and its
appeal as a great city for shopping.

ACADEMIC SECTION
The Dance Degree is divided
into two specialities: Dance Pedagogy and Choreography and Performance. It also
includes different options, allowing students to specialise in the professional
skills that meet the needs of the current employment areas and profiles and the
current, emerging, changing and future circumstances. These educational options
are:
- Professional
teaching
- Social, educational
and wellbeing dance
- Creation and new
media
- Theory, body and
stage.
The development of each
speciality and /or option will be carried out linked to a style.
Style is defined as a physical
training technique whereby the learner chooses between those disciplines listed
below:
- Classical dance
- Contemporary dance
- Spanish dance
- Flamenco
- Social dance:
ballroom dances, urban dances, others…
You can currently study the speciality
of Dance Pedagogy within the Dance Degree. There is a new syllabus which is
being progressively introduced. In the course year 2012-2013 the 3rd
year of this syllabus will be available.

Los programas educativos europeos organizados por la OAPEE
(Organismo autónomo programas educativos europeos), tienen como objetivo
general facilitar el intercambio, la
cooperación y la movilidad entre los sistemas de educación y formación de los
países europeos que participan, de forma que se conviertan en una referencia de
calidad en el mundo.
Entre las muchas propuestas educativas se
encuentra el programa
Erasmus que tiene como objetivo atender a las necesidades de enseñanza y
aprendizaje de todos los participantes en educación superior formal y en
formación profesional de nivel terciario, cualquiera que sea la duración de la
carrera o cualificación, incluidos los estudios de doctorado, así como a las
instituciones que imparten este tipo de formación.
Es el Departamento de Relaciones
Internacionales del Conservatorio Superior de Danza de Alicante, quien desarrolla
principalmente todas las gestiones de los programas de movilidad.
